New Account Checklist

New to eSingaporeOnline?

We have prepared a checklist for you to help you in setting up your website with us. To ensure a smooth move over to our servers, please check that you:

- Use your own domain name or register a new domain name.

- Do not cancel your current hosting plan ACTIVE yet. Leave it ACTIVE for the time being.

- Order your plan with eSingaporeOnline.

- Wait for our Account Activation email. Once you have received it, use the LOGIN information to access your Interworx control panel.

- Access your Interworx control panel and create your email accounts. If you need additional FTP accounts, you can also create them in your control panel.

- Remember to delete these 4 files which come with the website plan:

- index.html*

- 1.gif

- 2.gif

- 3.gif

*It is important to delete this file. Otherwise you may not be able to view your own website.

The abovementioned 4 files enable visitors to view a default placeholder webpage on a new website which is empty of content.

- FTP your website's files to your new website.

Host or URL:

WEB1*

web1.esingaporeonline.com

WEB2*

web2.esingaporeonline.com

WEB3*

web3.esingaporeonline.com

*Please use the correct one (given to you in the Welcome email.)

Username: ftp@yourdomainname.com

Password: yourpassword

- Type in your Internet browser ONE of the following temporary addresses:

- Go to your domain registrar and delegate to your domain name the following nameservers:

ns1.esingaporeonline.com

ns2.esingaporeonline.com

- Wait for about 24-48 hours for your domain name to propagate throughout the Internet. Once the address is available all over the Internet, visitors can access your website by typing http://www.yourdomainname.com.

- Close your account at your current hosting provider.

That's it!
